Tolix chairs. Which come from France and are designed specifically for outdoor seating. They can take abuse from all sorts of weather, children, and animals. Last week I was walking down North Avenue in Bucktown and came across these beauties. Sitting empty because it was raining, I fell in love. With the city, the idea of eating outside sometime soon, and seeing the combination together. Add it with the brick exterior, and I have to say, this is part of what makes Chicago so wonderful. And with a great martini, I can't wait to take my seat.
