Things were easier at 10
OK. I'm very happy to say that after a year of yoga practice/ I can do a backbend. Now, when I was ten years old, those and cartwheels were so easy. Now, I get on a swing and I get nauseated. So for the past year (with a few months off because of neck pain) I've been going to yoga a few times a week. I remember last year the first time I tried a backbend, I thought I was going to pass out. Now, I can do them with ease. And it only took a year. But now it's time to move on. Because unlike everything else in life, with yoga, you let it go. It's over. On to the next. Move on. Hopefully I'll take that lesson into the new year. It's a nice philosophy to be able to let things go. Namaste.
